The Asirvadh Ashram exists to liberate the underprivileged from poverty, illiteracy, darkness and to provide light, joy and hope that helps individuals achieve their full potential.
 

                                                                       THE VISION

A large number of underprivileged women and children in India are in desperate need of hope for life. A lady named Jeyanthi Asheervath recognized this great need and had a vision for the betterment of humanity and this much needed hope to those marginalized in Indian society. To make this vision come true, she established the foundations for a functional familial system in 1994 and named it “Asirvadh Ashram”. An “Ashram” is a communal society that fosters the strengths of individuals and harnesses their energies to sustain a shared vision.

“Asirvadh Ashram” provides a home to orphan and semi-orphan children and also to local women who need a helping hand and protection. The Ashram provides essential needs such as food, clothing, healthcare and education and above all a motherly affection, companionship and care which makes this a family unit.

 



THE MISSION

The mission of “Asirvadh Ashram” is to provide all essential facilities in a safe and caring environment and improve the quality of life of underprivileged women and children who receive little or no support from their own families. Committed and concerned citizens were invited to support this dynamic project.

 


 

OUR PLEA

 

Though the children are provided with basic needs, much effort and funds are required to provide them with essentials like fresh drinking water (an independent bore well), extra rooms and sanitation to accommodate growing number of children, and also medical supplies and facilities. Today 4 of the children are in college pursuing professional courses and many are ready to go to college and are waiting for sponsors. Our humble plea to people is to  us in liberating the underprivileged from poverty, illiteracy and darkness into life and light. Please offer the children of India an opportunity to experience life with joy and hope. Your friendship to the Ashram can create an environment of hope and respect for these needy children so that they can achieve their full potential.
